A 73-year-old Ohio man has been ruled mentally incompetent to stand trial after authorities discovered 16 of his grandchildren living in squalid conditions inside a home.
Gary Siders Sr. was facing legal proceedings in connection with the investigation into the severe living environment. However, following an evaluation of his mental capacity, the court determined that he is unfit to undergo trial at this time.
